Been playing Pokémon XD lately on NSO.

I discovered today that in Battle Bingo you do not need to keep moving from the last square you used, and can actually just move from any square you have previously revealed.

I have been playing a freakish challenge variant of Battle Bingo this whole time.

It is technically their fault. My Tinkaton was staring down a Mega Gyarados and Corviknight. Gyara was faster. I was dead to rights, but for some reason, instead of doubling me, they used Roost on Corvi.

I still feel bad, but also LOL

I wish the Switch captured more than 30 seconds of gameplay. Got a double Rock Slide flinch into Megaton Hammer kill. I don't even have King's Rock.

Trying to reconcile the fun I'm having with Pokémon Champions with how clinical the systems that facilitate it are on almost every level. It really sucks that this leans harder into mobile game shit than it does into the Stadium lineage.

First team built for Champions. I really like Mega Scovillain so far. Getting to use Chlorophyll in a sun team, and popping the mega to get a free burn on a Pokémon is crazy. Spicy Extract is also really funny on Mimikyu.
