if you look at the pretty schools, you might miss the jails
in chicago, as in nyc, we used to have in house school district architects
the idea of the high school developed after public education became required through compulsory attendance laws
how a school was built was thought to have a direct impact on learning

a lot of people don't realize how much bussing transportation happens at the half-day for students with disabilities, either they are in half day programs or spend half a day in a program
