This is an experimental found footage film that definitely isn’t going to be for everyone. A couple realizes their phones won’t stop recording while in the woods. While this one wasn’t my cup of tea, there are some genuinely creepy moments worth experiencing. Don’t Look in the Dark dir. Sam Freeman

Continuing coverage with Baptist Agostini-Croce’s HERITAGE. This one is like The Visit with The Wicker Man vibes and I’m here for it. The ending hits hard, but it takes some patience to hang in there. It’s worth it though.

I haven’t been in the mood for much of anything, much less writing since my dad first went in the hospital. But today, I’m feeling motivated to get back to work. Kicking things off with coverage for the Unnamed Footage Festival. Feels good to be back at it.

Another BHM Tip: Check the about page of places you go to for horror coverage. Does their team represent the world you know? Then maybe don’t give them clicks if they can’t seem to keep anyone who isn’t a white dude. Following them is why Eli Roth is always in your newsfeed!

And the upcoming sequel to Rush Hour (he was accused of sexual harassment during the filming of Rush Hour 2 and hundreds of other women during his career.) But folks “can’t wait to see it”. 🙄

I finally finished the series. And yea….it deserved a better ending.
