A little bird tells us that... If you donate to our Big Give appeal this weekend, your donation will be matched!
I don't often post appeals from my work, but if you'd like to donate to Your Local Pantry this weekend, whatever you give will be doubled!
Pantries are amazing community hubs, offering so much more than just food. I'm proud to be involved with them.

I'm afraid I'll be in Manchester, but maybe next time, and good luck with that one too!
Congratulations on getting this far! Loved your Kevin Smith interview. All the best for tonight.

Poetry For Neanderthals is worth a look
It's not exactly an RPG and it's not exactly Salem, but Witch Trial is a hilarious card game and free to download. crabfragmentlabs.com/witch-trial
It's also a Forged in the Dark system with a very fixed procedural structure, so you can generate stories really easily just from the setting guide. I'm rubbish at improvising but it makes me want to dive in and start playing.
The first half of the rulebook for Teeth has a brilliant gazetteer of the setting, with adventure hooks and links to other areas laid out really clearly in each section.
They're paywalled, but Quinns is doing some great video guides on the Patreon for Quinns Quest.
How about one of those wagons people use at festivals to move their tents and then to tow their kids around?
Tradition states that last night Jesus emptied out all the jails. Spent Saturday night telling people “I don’t care what you did, people weren’t made for prisons.” The next day to prove His point He broke out of solitary. It is finished. Easter is incompatible with the carceral state. Happy Easter.
Cool. I may look into it if I don't get anywhere with pitching. My main challenge would be paying an artist, as I can't do the whole thing with inspired use of public domain images like you could!
Where would I send a copy?
Yeah, I was at the one a month or two ago. Wasn't geared up in time to take a copy to playtest though, maybe next time
I'm not sure I have the time and resources - Kickstarter looks really competitive these days
I'd be very happy to send you a prototype if you'd be interested in playing it and giving me some feedback!
Yeah, it's been through a few tests including a couple of blind playtests. Still tweaking it a bit but it seems to work OK, had some good feedback and some fun games.
Fair enough. I love 'Brother, Why?' by the way!
@josh-hivemindgames.bsky.social Does Hive Mind take pitches for new games?
I'm based in Manchester too, and I've designed a game with a similar theme and setting to 'Brother, Why?'
It's called 'Pilgrims and Profits': bit.ly/pilgrimsnpro...
Fascists are losers and snitches, bullies and sneaks, creeps and cowards. Fascists are vulgarians, ignoramuses, and knownothings. Fascists are snivelling conformists cosplaying a juvenile rebellion fantasy; sadistic inadequates and entitled crybabies; the petty, the small, the empty, the terrified.
Our standard response is, "You spoke, o toothless one?"
We stole it from the musician/comedian Bernard Wrigley.
look it hasn’t worked the last 15 times but maybe *this* time a round of cuts to essential public services will lead to economic growth and prosperity
The people who worry me most these days aren’t the fascists - just because their positions are clear, and at least you can plan for them. The most worrying are people so obsessed with self-advancement that they will sacrifice every loudly-held position at a moment’s notice. They concern me the most.
The fact that Musk has lost $100B over the last month but is still the wealthiest person on Earth and financially unharmed in the slightest—all while wealth and income inequality is worse now than it was after the Great Depression—is Exhibit A on why we need to tax billionaires out of existence.

Thanks!
