The DOJ was created to increase the capacity for federal prosecutions during Reconstruction esp. those to be brought under the newly enacted KuKlux Klan Act.

Now the DOJ is being used to prosecute a storied civil rights organization whose central mission has been to expose & dismantle the Klan.

RUIZ: Bloomberg reports that Trump & the WH have benched you because you're making the president look bad

RFK Jr: That's not true

RUIZ: I think the reporting is correct. You're making the president look bad. You talked publicly about snorting cocaine off a toilet bowl seat. Your words, not mine.

Maybe law firms have a package rate.

Sue for X - $ price
Sue for Y - $$ price
Sue for Z - $$$ price

One of those is a "Sue for $250,000,000.00" package.

Devin Nunes Departs Trump Media After 4 Years as C.E.O. The former congressman said it was an “appropriate time” for a leadership change at Truth Social’s parent company, whose share price has floundered.

President Trump’s social media company, which has consistently lost money and struggled with a flagging share price, announced Tuesday that it was replacing Devin Nunes as its chief executive officer. nyti.ms/3QjNBKh

After failing his way up to chair the House Intelligence Committee, and then leading Truth Social as CEO, Devin Nunes will struggle to find a job that he is less qualified for.

The universe loves irony.

Good morning, Asia. While you were sleeping, one of our most-read stories reported that dozens of ships have managed to circumvent the blockade since it began — despite Donald Trump declaring it a ‘tremendous success’. ft.trib.al/9C3Xw4h

Is it a blockade or a block-ish.

I can’t remember: did Texas even hold a vote to amend their constitution to add their five Republican seats?

Trump does not fail because he is unlucky. He fails because he cannot do the job. The presidency has a learning curve. He never climbed it. He just renamed the failures as wins.

Oh noez! “Rhetorical hyperbole.” I’d bet the bourbon that this is the way his Patel’s lawsuit against the Atlantic goes as well.

Iran doesn’t want the Strait of Hormuz closed, they want it open so they can make $500 Million Dollars a day (which is, therefore, what they are losing if it is closed!). They only say they want it closed because I have it totally BLOCKADED (CLOSED!), so they merely want to “save face.” People approached me four days ago, saying, “Sir, Iran wants to open up the Strait, immediately.” But if we do that, there can never be a Deal with Iran, unless we blow up the rest of their Country, their leaders included! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Trump to NCAA athletes at the White House: "Does anybody agree that men should be able to play in women's sports? Would you like to raise your hand? So far I have never found anybody. They say it's an 80/20 issue but I've never been able to find anybody, so I think it's maybe 100/0."

"Most of the results so far come from heavily Republican areas; nothing has been reported at all from Fairfax County and Richmond, two of the state’s populous Democratic strongholds. Where the count is complete, 'Yes' has been running well enough to prevail."

III. ANALYSIS
The Court finds that Dir. Patel has failed to allege a viable defamation claim against
Figliuzzi. As such, the Court must dismiss Dir. Patel’s lawsuit. While Figliuzzi requests
attorney’s fees and court costs under state anti-SLAPP statutes, the Court is unable to grant
him such, and this request must be denied.
