Had the unfortunate pleasure of our company being bought and landing in the gambling industry. The narrative was that "most don't get addicted" and "we force nobody to play". When I suggested the same 'arguments' are used by drug dealers, I was being hyperbolic. I left due to ethical reasons.

I'm taking a deep dive into the world of Turn Based Tactical Combat design. If anyone has good resources to share, very much appreciated!

We had the exact same thing happen to us last year. Get in contact with your unity rep, we got a 10% discount (which still sucked tbh but our backlog is entirely unity so...)

Would've been cool. The players decided they'd rather end things here though.

Total party kill. All player characters died during the same encounter, abruptly ending the campaign.

Experienced a TPK for the first time as a DM yesterday. It sucked. The table was set, all the die rolls went poorly, I had no more way to intervene except for providing deus ex machina. At least the players took it like champs. This is a 3y running campaign, nearing it's finally. I'm sad. #gaming

I just keep finding myself being sucked back into Baldur's Gate 3 from time to time. Act 1 is just such a fun way to experiment with DnD builds. #gaming #bg3

Last day before vacation. Do any of you have a 'last day at work' ritual? Mine is cleaning up the scattered notes with (by now) meaningless numbers, sketches of hexagon grids, written down lists of variables and semi-thought out game flow diagrams I had to track some day. #gamedev

One type of damage AI does comes from this imo. As the general public wises up about AI, it starts to get recognised and actively pushed back against. In that proces actual amazing art styles that took artists years to develop get labeled 'cheap', as they are what AI tries to emulate.
