Hey Republicans angry about Virginia Democrats using DEMOCRACY to fight back against your anti-democratic gerrymanders:
You own the House, Senate, and Presidency. You can fix this RIGHT NOW, TODAY. Just make partisan gerrymandering illegal.
Done. Dusted. You could have it done by the weekend.
Julie Andrews as Maria dances in a field of wildflowers. Caption reads as someone else saying If you don’t embrace AI you will be left behind! I respond This is me being left behind.

Huge reporting staffs and budgets mean NOTHING when the organization’s leadership has an agenda, and that agenda isn’t written for you.
Support. Independent. Journalism.
Reading the FT front page story about a Chinese company introducing a battery with a 1500 km range & six minute recharging time & about how two Chinese companies own more than half of the global EV battery market & I am struck by the different realities the US and China occupy. We’ve lost the plot.
The USA is a place with no universal healthcare, but 1,000 billionaires. At least 49 of those billionaires made all their money from Private Healthcare. Perhaps you can connect the dots.
every conservative political complaint comes back to "those people shouldn't count because they disagree with me"
A reminder while Republicans bitch about Dems finishing the redistricting fight they started: they have full control of gov’t— they can pass a law banning gerrymandering any time they want. They won’t. Republicans aren’t mad gerrymandering exists; they’re mad that they’re not the only ones using it.
I would submit that a gerrymander by politicians saying fuck the voters and one by voters saying fuck the politicians are two wholly different animals
Absolutely fucking vile. Anyone who voted for these ghouls and doesn’t condemn this with their whole chest is as contemptible and useless as the soulless trash they support.
The President of the United States is mentally ill and needs to be removed from office.
And despite obsolescence, cost, and environmental destruction, this administration is committed to spending YOUR MONEY to keep it that way, so our rich coal friends can stay rich. — This asshole, probably
Weed killer label, 2,4-D Amine weed killer
A friend told me she’s been highly recommended toward this stuff for henbit. I’m in the same boat, that weed is AGGRESSIVE. I don’t know personally, but I do know that 47% “active ingredient” is pretty strong stuff as weed killers go. Kind of a chemical flame thrower?
Nobody (except cancer patients with markers for radiation therapy targets) really *needs* a tattoo.
When you use AI to do your writing, you are telling your audience: “I deserve your attention, but you do not deserve my effort.”
Salute to an all-time tweet
What the Dem platform for 2028 must be:
1. Epstein Trials
2. ICE Trials
3. War Crimes Tribunals
We don’t want to hear about a $10,000 tax credit for starting new AI businesses.
We demand JUSTICE.
“…Any models trained on web data from after the advent of ChatGPT in 2022 are ingesting AI-generated data — an act of low-key cannibalism that may well be causing increasing technical issues that could come to threaten the entire industry.”

Yes, this one goes with the previous skeet.
Tesla. Disney. CVS Health. United Airlines. PayPal. Billions in profits. $0 in federal corporate income taxes.
That money should be funding schools, healthcare, and public services.
This is why people are mad as hell.
Dear Media:
Blindly quoting the President without fact-checking or context is just misinformation with a press pass.
We don’t need stenographers; we need journalists. Do your job.
If we survive this mess, we will HAVE TO combat the disinformation machine in order for democracy to survive.
Oh, and the fact that I shared this doesn’t change the fact that @nytimes.com is a garbage organization, and that you should support local news instead.
Reminds me of my favorite science joke:
Prof quizzing his students: “What did Watson & Crick discover?”
Student: “ROSALIND FRANKLIN’S NOTES!”
Picture of a book text: let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so let us all be thankful. -Buddha
