a cartoon of snoopy and woodstock laying on the roof of their house with the words time to take a break below them Alt: Snoopy und Woodstock aus dem Comic „Peanuts“ liegen auf dem hellbraunen Dach ihres Hauses. Beide liegen auf dem Rücken, haben ihre Augen geschlossen und atmen tief und gleichmäßig, sie scheinen zu schlafen. Links und rechts des Daches sind grüne Bäume zu sehen, darüber blauer Himmel mit weißen Wolken. Am oberen Bildrand steht „Zeit für eine Pause“. Snoopy and Woodstock from the “Peanuts” comic strip are lying on the light brown roof of their house. Both are lying on their backs with their eyes closed, breathing deeply and evenly; they appear to be asleep. Green trees can be seen to the left and right of the roof, with a blue sky and white clouds above. At the top of the image, it says “Time for a break.”

Hallo zusammen, wir nehmen eine Auszeit. Bis dann. 👋

Hey everyone, just a quick note to say we're taking a break. 👋

❄️The Arctic is thawing — and the plants moving in are making it worse.
A research team within #TERRA🌍 studied the #Stordalen mire in #Sweden across a full growing season. As permafrost melts, grasses replace shrubs. They absorb CO₂ in summer — but drive far more methane by late season.

Most of the ocean isn’t empty anymore.

Ship traffic. We are everywhere.

Antarctica is still different.

That’s why protecting the Southern Ocean matters.
