Steamed Hams is old enough that he feels conflicted because everyone younger than he is has no emotional attachment to the simpsons golden age and everyone slightly older than him can talk exclusively in simpsons quotes for hours
We owe Warren DeLano so much.
How terrible is the academic job market?
Well friends, I gave up on academia for the stability and comfort of...

Hey #chemchat, recognise this?
I have a Reviewer 2 joke but apparently it represents only an incremental advance on previous jokes, and so has been rejected.

What was #ChemTwitter like?
Hi All.
Here is Alex Pinto, chemistry professor at Manhattan University, in NYC. I use to have a twitter with a couple of followers. Now, I am finally at BlueSKy. If you used to follow my group on Twitter, please, follow us here on BlueSky. I hope to keep the same vibe we used to have on Twitter.

Notice for #chemsky: Haldor Lanxess is a novelist, Haldor Topsoe and Lanxess are chemical engineering and chemical firms. If you buy the novel Independent People by Haldor Lanxess as prof dev reading because you're only half paying attention, it is a grim saga about WWI-era Iceland shepherds.
