I have never commented on a planning application but if I did, I would expect my name and address to be recorded and visible. I would also expect to see the name and address of the applicant equally visible (and in a corporate development, the name and office address of the person responsible).

Absolutely correct. Almost everyone I know ended up in a job unrelated, or only marginally related, to their exam subject results (with the exception of the few who "always wanted to be X" since early childhood); and it's actually impossible to prepare children for the world of work in class.
