And I mentally crashed about 8 hours later and fell asleep on the sofa after trying to write a last minute proposal and put together a presentation within a week
I did my thesis proposal meeting yesterday!
I'm in a lecture about eye development and it truly is a beautiful organ. Hope to work with it again in the future

In times of revolution, many things change. If we are able to rebuild our research bodies, one thing we would Iike to see change is for-profit scientific journals.
Scientific publications should be open access if government-funded and journals should at minimum be non-profit.

Immunofluorescence image of sliced midbrain organoids. Bright green dots represent midbrain cells. Red represents actin (cell bodies). Mottled lighter green is likely background from the gel that houses the organoid.
It's not the prettiest IF images I've ever made, but it's a start for my project.
Also if anyone has tips on reducing background from matrigel, much appreciated!
Green - tyrosine hydroxylase
Red - actin

Is the sky still blue?
