On social media there's so much less context. You can't even see the goofy expressions I'm making as I type this. How could you possibly know how unserious I'm taking myself? So I feel compelled to hide those outrageous Berry thoughts. The ones that also happen to be the most quirky, the most me.

I think part of why I struggle with social media so much is how compelled I feel to mask. I *hate* masking. I like living with the full-throated belief that if I can be as authentic and unmasked as possible, I'll attract the people who appreciate me for me.

Who is humanity creating AI for? Who will be left that can still be considered human?
