Some of the bits of Dublin are very down, and some of the towns and villages of the west of Ireland have a dilapidated air.

Both were going to be Fishguard to Rosslare. But on the morning I was due to leave, they cancelled so had to sail from Holyhead to Dublin. Dublin not fun to ride in.
So, did about 1000 miles on my trip to the West of Ireland and back on the V7 850 Sport. Bike went perfectly, was a good companion for the trip. People were friendly, the music and singing were great, the scenery of Sligo and Mayo awesome. Wild Atlantic Way was well.....windy and wild, but mesmeric
Few more
Photo dump from my week in Ireland in Sligo. Had a great time, stayed with friends. Rode the Wild Atlantic Way on Achill Island. Visited Kock Shrine, which was odd. Read poetry in a cafe. Saw some awesome mountains.
A few recent pics from rides lately. Yesterday had 122 miles for the best ride of the year so far with 3 friends.
Very creepy!
One day? Back on the road.
Oh yes celcius. ๐ That wash I did was not the full wash, just what my Dad used to call "a quick tub".
Last ride of the year done on the last day of the year. 55 miles in between 3 and 8 degrees, met a friend, had lunch, took the twisty back roads and stopped for a coffee 5 miles from home. Washed the bike, put away, 2025 riding done. Put 2600 miles on this bike, it's been fantastic.

No need for therapy thanks, I have a Guzzi. Lunch on Saturday at Llanidloes. Bought some books. Had coffee. Talked Border music with a harpist, gave her a list of tunes.
Just back from a solo trip on the new bike to Wales. It was a very good 690 miles all up, including lunch near a pair of old Magnox reactors, and a loop of Snowdon. Cold and wet on the way up, just cold on the way home.
If only. A very fine establishment called Tre Pol An Pen near Launceston.
Lunch stop.....

Few pics from today's 150 or so miles to and around Cornwall. Lunch in St Mawes, a lovely place. Took the Bodinnick Ferry....
Is Kobo a good Kindle substitute?
The pub was closed!!! Nice ride home from work anyway....
A few pics from the club rideout on the weekend. Weather was kind, great turnout for a small branch, and a great exploration of places I didn't know. No pics, but the village of Ashton in the Teign Valley was very bucolic. New bike going well.
Yesterdays 96 mile ride. Today....the weather is.....inclement.
Absolutely.
