3am idea where housing-meets-pvp: Someone should set up a tag arena in their house.
Two level 1 players /duel and the chaser needs to (melee) attack the runner to tag them. Mix and match class and level to taste as the layout gets more ridiculous.
I'd totally watch this.

We've got some Endeavor changes going live later this week.
TL;DR
- House XP cap 1000 -> 2250
- DR on tasks floor 20% -> 50%
- Repeatable task DR resets weekly
- First (this one!) Endeavor XP needed 1000 -> 400
- Generic task rewarded XP 10 -> 50

What other inconsistencies exist between similar items with different costs? (I.e. two things that are similar looks/size/"functionality" but with wildly different costs)
Was just talking with Jay about this one a bit ago...
In almost every interview or pitch for various housing features, I'd bring up someone building a pirate ship.... she built one!
It feels like both of these points could serve as springboards for broad discussions on our approach to housing and philosophy, but it can also just boil down into: "we want you to make cool stuff with each other!"

Two housing updates with today's maintenance:
1) Exterior decor limits now increase from 200 to 250 at house level 3!
2) We were going to fix flying houses to bring them back to terra firma, but you all made such awesome stuff, so we made it possible with the base UI instead.
Working with a talented, high-trust team is awesome because sometimes cool stuff is made and you only find out once the designers show it to you in action.
The level 6 house Armillary reward on Beta is one such thing.

Second time in as many days as Cowtown has come up!
Random thoughts while looking at screenshots:
- They used to be TGA files and man what a pain it is to browse them.
- So many character names were A+ and very lore-appropriate.
- Seeing chat in these is truly a time capsule as we all figured out the rules of the world together.
Thanks to the team who worked incredibly hard on this, the players whose excitement we fed off of and feedback we internalized, and our families for putting up with us.
We're so so excited to see what you build and welcome you home at long last too.
Today we launch housing in WoW. Feeling sentimental, I went digging through old screenshots.
I first visited Azeroth in the tech alpha (slipping in as a MMO dev at another co!) and made a Tauren (Plainsrunning!) and walked to TB.
22 years later, I can finally call it home.
