Voilà: au moins pour une formule simple style « \int_0^{+\infty} e^{-x^2} \, dx = \frac{\sqrt{\pi}}{2} » la syntaxe LaTeX est devenue un standard de fait. C'était possible de la gérer sans inclure toute la complexité de LaTeX. Si Typst n'a pas fait ça, ils ont vraiment raté leur coup, c'est dommage.

Même si ça fonctionne, si on se retrouve à remplacer un truc bricolé et qui casse tout le temps (LaTeX + sa myriade de packages) par un autre truc bricolé, mais qui en plus n'est utilisé par quasi personne donc on sera seul à pleurer quand ça casse, ça me semble un mauvais plan.

Ben MathJax y arrive bien, justement (et oui, il supporte une forme de \newcommand apparemment). Et je crois que ce n'est pas le seul à accepter une forme de “format LaTeX” pour les formules: LibreOffice doit aussi avoir un éditeur d'équations sur cette base — c'est un standard de fait.
