Sam discovers some kind of sinister cult operating under the high school, and manages to escape after subduing the serpent. So clearly everything's fine.

On tonight's Bump in the Dark, Eddie and Sam split up, with one setting the trap and the other attempting to guide the serpent to it. Sam goes for a wild ride, holding tightly to the dagger he jammed in the snake's spine, and Eddie withstands a psychic riptide ...

How old is your daughter? Mine was six when we watched it and this was the only part of the movie she liked. The rest was boring (first two acts) or scary (all the fighting) but this was hilarious to her.
