Had super long chats with an old mate, who now lives a life so significantly different than my own, in Germany. And yet it was like we were on the bus together yesterday. So easy, so casual. Like no time had passed. We mutually agreed we were at our technology limit.

Even though I spend most of my time in bed anyway, doing so while horribly ill, especially with a fever, leaves this unseen layer of festering grossness that makes the bed/room like something from a plague doco. So glad to have been able to sterilise everything today.
