Friends was fine at 8/7c. 3rd Rock had almost 2 dozen timeslots during its run. I would not have minded if NBC gave it that plum slot on Thursday; maybe it would've stayed there for a couple of seasons.

Best Medicine is one of my few new favorites. This kind of show could have been on either CBS or Hallmark. A quaint town with a bunch of nice people; a refreshing setting on the Fox network where a usual hourlong show of theirs has a dark gritty atmosphere with serious or shady or violent people.

Ernie Anastos was a New York TV legend, anchoring at WABC (1978-89), WCBS (1989-95, 2001-05) and WNYW (2005-19).

The three hours does not feel that long at all when watching, but I am a huge Survivor fan so my enjoyment is based on who is competing. A lot of that airtime is centered on who is aligning with who and who are their nemesis.

That nostalgia boost is strong! Excellent demos especially opposite direct competition from CBS, NBC and Fox. My guess is original Scrubs telecasts will average 0.35-0.40 18-49 range in L+SD in the coming weeks
