Congratulations GammAway for winning the #NIB2025 pitch competition. They presented the incredibly innovative idea of using gamma radiation to eliminate spoilage of Australian produce to allow exportation to international markets via boat routes at larger volumes for lower costs.

Week one of #NIB2025 complete ✅. Project teams have been formed and this years cohort worked hard all week long! Time for a restful weekend and preparation for another week.
Yesterday the #NIB2025 cohort enjoyed a visit to the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation! During this visit they had the opportunity learn about the OPAL reactor and see particle accelerators up close. Thank you to ANSTO for hosting us!
