S5 was disappointing frm wht the duffers were laying down after s4 Erica painting the kas figure->nothing, dark crystal->inspired set piece? Nancy drew->missing kids seems like the time/mystery story was rushed/slapdash
that the fact of simply HAVING those elements was enough to call it good writing
It seems like they read everyone’s s5 theories so they can write something that was “not thought of by anyone else ever. I’m so original :)”

🤭 I imagine s5 ending like “the little vampire” did, everyone comes back alive and bump into each other in town not knowing they died
