I'm doin fine. I finally jettisoned my Twitter account today, because yikes. There is nothing good happening over there. I've been spending time on Threads, and now I'll be spending time on Bluesky too, since people I like are on both apps.
How are you doing, Chris?

If a border wall will keep Ramaswamy out of Canada, I’m all for it.
Ugh. Hope it doesn’t hit you too hard.
Yay! Congratulations!
Yay! Congratulations!
Ow, ow, ow!
The abuse reporters have to take is sickening. Tell a reporter they’re fabulous.
Glad to see you over here. I’m still hanging out on the fringes there, because the publishing industry seems hesitant to migrate, but it’s only a matter of time. I hope.
Thank you!
Beautifully eerie
😂😬
It was begging for dragons.
Also a lifelong atheist, also 15/15. The scores by religious affiliation are for sure interesting.
These couches are designed for when robots take over the world. Horrible.
Librarian friend says:
“If you want us to keep the books you love, check them out! Circulation is one of many factors we consider when weeding our collections, and it’s a very important factor for public libraries in particular, which need to keep making room for new books.”
That’s disgraceful.
Because who doesn’t like free education?
Buckets of free! That’s amazing. Thank you.
Why doesn’t Elon charge people who don’t use Twitter, it’s a faster-growing market segment.
Lovely. Just lovely. Sounds like someone was wound just a bit too tight.
Man not to go on and on with this but it’s really worth it to watch the actual clip of where the Miyazaki quote comes from just to see AI guys get asked “why are you doing this?” and seeing them having to grapple morally with it for the first time ever.

So lovely that you’re making some money from writing. And what better way to spend it? Congratulations!
The usual fash & fash-adjacent grifters grifting; the fake populism; the whiny bullhorn & placard hysteria; the universalization of heterosexuality; the refusal of anything resembling empathy or identification with the Other. Transphobes stay the fuck out of my city.
It’s so much saner and less toxic here—as long as you’re mindful about who you follow. Happy to see you over here!
a shop page including shark earrings, "Sounds Gay I'm In", Dinosaur earrings, a rainbow necklace, polymer clay earrings with ivory bckgrounds and a fall colored bouquet, and a purple and black witch bracelet.
As you may have heard, our shop, staffed by eight queer people, has taken a hit losing That Other Site. Our outreach is down, so we've migrated here to @peculiarityshop.bsky.social. I post here on this profile a few times a week, but that's the account, and this is the site:

Thank you! How weird that Amazon is keeping it free in Canada. Doesn’t do them any good.
I
Actually really grateful to have some short fiction to read in between rewriting my query letter and revising my next novel!
Oh, how weird. But all is good. I followed the link and bought it! 😊
I tried to buy it, but I can’t find it on the Canadian Amazon site. 😞
Book cover for Nocturnal Nibbles, by Miranda Kate, with the tagline a collection of bite-sized pieces. Image depicts a cabin in the woods at night. A window can be seen with a light shining out through the trees. The image is filtered in a dark blue aqua green.
I keep forgetting to mention that my popular collection of horror, Nocturnal Nibbles, is currently on sale for just 99p/99c. It hit 100 reviews last month. It's gonna be on sale for a couple more weeks. Don't miss out!
