Finally finished Heated Rivalry. Ended up really enjoying it!

I was very critical of Shane the entire show, but I’m self-aware enough to recognize that it’s because I didn’t like how much I identified with him. Much to unpack!

Ilya was beautifully handled, and I still think ep 3 was the strongest.

Oh to be clear I think MBJ and Delroy are the victims (or wronged party) of a racist attack here. They 100% deserve a formal apology from Davidson, and Davidson should take accountability while bringing awareness to his disability

Exactly, everyone is being so serious about the movie when it’s not supposed to be taken that seriously. It’s smutty dark romance!! And it’s really not as terrible of an interpretation of the novel as everyone claims.

I am a proud Emerald Fennell fan and find the criticism boring.

Her movies are fun, interesting, and flawed… I don’t understand why so many think that’s bad.

The criticism of Wuthering Heights feels so blown out of proportion. The movie chose to tell more of a love story, but the destructive nature of Cathy + Heathcliff was clear, even if it wasn’t fully explore it.

Just saw Wuthering Heights and thought it was so much fun! Perfect mix of tragic and horny.

The adaptation is way more faithful than it’s been portrayed, but it’s also clearly only the first half of the novel.

I am being 100% serious, this movie is about a Survivor superfan who takes her obsession with the show too far and suffers psychosis as a result.

Never had much of a connection to The Muppets…. but The Muppet Show premiere is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a longtime. I get it now.
