I just did a 6.5k fun run and am very sad this isn’t in front of me right now.

A record number of runners took part in the 6.5k #Singelloop #Leiden today; over 6,000. It’d be at the limit of fun for this run, were it not that the crowds are so incredibly supportive.

I had number 267, so got extra support from the kids. 🤲😂

The recent 5k programme was too much for my Garmin Forerunner 45S. Just leapt on my bike on a mission of aid and assistance, and it suddenly pinged apart off my wrist. Connectors between watch and strap completely worn through.
Now I have to find a basic #running watch that fits a 135mm wrist. 😭

After 14 weeks, and snow, and ice, and flu thing 1, and flu thing 2, and physio exercises, I’ve finally completed the 8 week 5k programme. Which means I’ve reached my goal of being able to run the 6.5k #Singelloop again next week! 🙌
