Equalities watchdog submits formal guidance after UK supreme court transgender ruling Bridget Phillipson faces choice over document from EHRC, whose chair says it remains ‘difficult’ to shape policies

Worth noting the EHRC guidance goes further than the Supreme Court ruling. If implemented in its fullest it will ensure trans and non-binary individuals are excluded from socialising, work, school, basically being allowed to be in public for any periods of time.

An FOI request reveals that the EHRC is not planning to publish a report on its public consultation until AFTER its new Code of Practice has gone all the way through Parliament, and is a “done deal”. 1. Email a link of this report to your MP, with highlights from the executive summary in your email. Ask them what it means for your constituency and their party - highlight trans people's legally mandated human rights
