Like… I love Moxxie. But he’s such a different dog from Saph. I wish I could articulate just what it is that I need.

In the meantime, the depression has been pretty bad. I just haven’t felt like doing much at all. Even Moxxie’s walks are turning into a chore. I hate it.

Having a really hard time dealing with the loss of Sapphire. Keep going between wanting to never get another dog and already thinking about fostering.

More than that, though, there’s just this… void. This big hole in my heart and my life that I don’t know how to fill. I wish I could figure it out.

Farewell, my sweet girl. Every person who passed you by in the shelter missed out on an amazing girl. Thank you for eleven years of companionship.

My boy Moxxie had The Procedure done a few days ago, and the salty look on his face says it all.
