New anthology out that I have a story in… (for some reason the preview shows the summary of a different book).

Apropos of nothing. I clearly haven't been annoying enough about my books so hello :)
Please check out the Kickstarter for my vampire anthology, and support it if you can 🦇
Submissions open in June if the Kickstarter succeeds!

Today’s progress.
A little progress…
I’m all set up and ready for tomorrow. I’m mostly selling art, but I’ve got a selection of my (illustrated) books, too. I forgot my White Raven Press sign, though.
Image is a collage of nine images with text tape over the top that reads "Swamp Born Witch" Images are: a fly agaric mushroom and moss, candles aflame, a Swamp, a grimoire and some herbs with black candles laid on it, a wooden window frame surrounded by ivy and flowers, various plants and herbs and bottles and candles on a wooden bench, trees growing up through a Swamp, candles and clay jars on a stone windowsill, a small house on the edge of a lake
🌟STORY REVEAL🌟
Swamp Born Witch by Nico Silver @anagramforink.bsky.social
Fen thought they’d left their past behind until a strange girl shows up at the witch’s house to haunt them with a part of themself they’d tried to forget

(Thanks to my giant immovable work table I can only fit three of the four panels, so I just have to pretend the fourth one is there). I still have a few things to get ready and a whole lot of packing, but I’m getting there.
This weekend I’m selling art at the Fairy Faire in Sidney, and I’ve made a complete mess of my studio attempting a practice set up with my new grid wall.
Semi-regular plea to artists and diy framers to please use appropriate tape on your art. Please please please do not use masking tape, or duct tape, or packing tape, or regular cello tape. They are not meant for permanent use on art and they will actually damage paper over the long term.
Leopard skin.
The best tears. 😁
I got a short story acceptance this morning that almost made me cry it was so lovely.
Legs…
Border cut (coloured in with Sharpie for better visibility).
The fingertips on my right hand are going numb and I have to start dinner, but I think I made some progress.
Ready to cut…
Reposting for reasons…
I just need to figure out the border, and then I can start cutting. But I’m back to my day job tomorrow, so that’s a next week problem.
Today’s task: add the surrounding foliage to this linocut design and maybe get it transferred to the lino.
Editing mode: activated.
Two of my prints made it to the extended long list for the Jackson’s Art Prize!
You can see all 4200 pieces here: jacksonsart.awardsplatform.com/gallery/jlkz...
The long list will be announced March 6, so we’ll see if I make it any farther then.
Code good till the end of
March.

The discount code is SILVER50
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I’ve been playing around with the app myself and I’m pretty impressed. There aren’t a lot of queer books there yet, but there are some and more will be added (including the rest of my backlist) as time goes on.
If you use my fancy secret code SILVER50 (okay, not so secret), you get a fat discount on your first month. (Yaaaayyy!) If you need the Android version, get on the waitlist and the code will apply once the app goes live. For iOS it’s available now.
A bit to my surprise (since I’m a microscopic queer author), I’m a founding author there, with the three books of Three Realms available (the rest of my books will be there eventually).
ANYWAY, there’s a promo going on…
Hey, so you might have seen me repost the odd promo from Yearn, which is a new app for fantasy romance that’s attempting to challenge KU (and be better for both authors and readers).
Tomorrow I have an appointment to learn how to stick myself with needles. I am both excited and apprehensive.
I have a story featuring my swamp witch in this, if you like that sort of thing.
