Oh and btw a professor the other week said that his semester tuition was $400 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
But no, the university happily advertises very expensive study-abroad trips. Even at a meeting this morning, program director tried to encourage us to go to an event while also trying to downplay the significant cost by suggesting its worth the educational value.

I ended up having to pay for that class out of pocket. Right around the time my car broke down and I had to pay for that.
COLLEGE STUDENTS CANNOT AFFORD COLLEGE ANYMORE. We have plenty of other things in our lives that demand loads of money.
I took a summer class once. It was a few thousand just for the professor to be nonexistent, post auto-grading assignments and exams neither he nor the school made, etc. Some of his only original material wasn't even in proper english and was hard to understand.
Yeah, but sure. Another loan. Great. Just what I needed on top of my other one with SIXTEEN PERCENT INTEREST RATE because we could not find anything else better at the time. I'm already trying so hard to keep up with that one and struggling.
HOW. We made sure to get the right amount + extra. Wtf. What now? I'm already working a student job that earns $9.50 with no chance for raise or bonus. One of the only jobs I could find, and I already don't have much extra time on my hands. I feel stuck with this poor pay.
A rant about college getting more and more unsustainable. I am so done, and so frustrated.
This semester's tuition bill of $11k was due. Went through and got the loan all ready for it. Now, weeks later, I find out that for some bizarre, unknown reason, there's $1.7k on my bill
My spirits have just been kind of broken lately...I've been pretty sick for almost two weeks, my car battery died, I've been wrestling with some classes and personal issues.
I wish there could be a break.
