Is this the end of Lime Bike Leg? Plus: Mudchute City Farm is saved and Angela Rayner brands Asif Aziz's Criterion Capital "incredibly vindictive".

Great for safety but Lime still needs to address it's two big problems: bad parking and cost.

Dockless bikes are a great idea but if they are too expensive and annoy everyone else they are in trouble.

The solution, as in many cases: more competition in the market

Yesterday marked the final meeting for Haringey, I chose to end on the subject of inequality

With the elections coming in May, things are set to look very different and, hopefully, we’ll see many Lib Dem councillors elected. If you’re considering getting involved, now is an exciting time to do so!🔶

Very happy to open Stanhope Bridge today.

It's so important to protect access to our amazing green spaces and the Parkland Walk is a great example of that.

Our plan to fix the student finance system and support graduates Our pragmatic, costed and achievable plan that would make a real difference to graduates now, while also fixing the system for the long term.

Very important to campaign on this unfair system

France urges 29-year-olds to get on with having kids Letters sent out by the French government to men and women will remind them of their ‘biological clocks’ that can affect fertility

This is illiberal and won't work. Fix the root cause rather than try to impose behaviours and cause further stress on young people

On reports that Russia could be readmitted to the G7 under peace plans, Lib Dem Calum Miller MP says:

"Russia must not be readmitted...Putin is a war criminal who is also hell-bent on destabilising Europe and the rest of the international order. A ceasefire in Ukraine would not change those facts."

Reform UK’s former Wales leader jailed for taking bribes as MEP for pro-Russia statements Police say Nathan Gill received about £40,000 from Oleg Voloshyn, alleged Russian asset also under investigation

Shocking, how can we trust this party to run the country?

Brilliant result!

Once again showing that it's the Lib Dems taking on and beating Reform where it matters - at the ballot box.

No no, the error in my post.

I'm not against this, I tried to show that in my opening line

I have no issue with crowd control on the underground but sometimes it is quite odd.

Here at Whitechapel station you have entrances for both directions either side of you, but the sign says to go right for westbound trains and forwards for eastbound

Sam Fender wins the 2025 Mercury Prize for his third album, People Watching "I didn't think that was going to happen at all," the star says, as judges laud his "classic" album.

Some absolutely cracking albums nominated for the prize. Big fan of Fontaines, CMAT, Wolf Alice and Sam.

Very cool for the local fans too, good to see stuff like this spreading around the UK

UK ready to spend frozen Russian assets to fund Ukraine loan Sir Keir co-signed a joint E3 statement with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron

This is something we as Liberal Democrats have long called for. Those who wage illegal wars must face the consequences. I'm proud to see this principle become policy.

Conservatives would scrap stamp duty, Kemi Badenoch announces The Tory leader says the move would help millions buy a home, in her annual conference speech.

She seems to think that stamp duty, a tax that's only levied on homes that cost more than £300,000, is the reason that young people aren't buying homes

...I think she needs to speak to the average young person in this country

Have your say on Hampstead Heath’s swimming ponds We’re consulting on future access at Hampstead Heath’s swimming ponds to ensure arrangements remain fair, lawful & respectful.

Trans people are seeing fewer and fewer spaces remain open to them.

Please support their right to exist fully and freely in our society, and urge the City of London to stand with them.
