Russell Public School is directly across the street from the Castor River, separated by a small road and grassy bank.

When I saw the school's proximity to the Castor River, and beautiful Stream of Dreams mural, I knew I was in for some great engagement, and they didn't disappoint!
During Ontario Public Library Week, I had the joy of sharing This is the Boat that Ben Built with grades 2-4 at Russell Public School, by way of invitation from the Township of Russell Public Library, with coordination support by MASC.
