All memes aside, at this point in time I genuinely cannot recommend anyone play Aug in Season 2 outside of perhaps the very top guilds, or "just for fun". We'll see how things actually shake out on Live, but Patch 11.1 is looking to me like the "We'd rather you didn't play Aug Evoker" patch.
