I sit on the Judiciary committee in the NH State Senate. 3 anti-immigrant bills were introduced today. I was gaveled for acknowledging that an identified nationalist hate group who testified was…a hate group. Not all hate groups show up in white hoods or carry tiki torches. #nhpolitics

This is amazing. Clearly shows that educational vouchers are about the money, not about quality education.

NH poised for school bills battle in 2025: Freedom accounts, parental rights, bullying GOP controls NH state government as bills on Education Freedom Accounts, bullying, cellphone use and more are drafted. Teachers union speaks up.

“With budgets as tight as they are, and we know the state budget is going to be a tight budget this year, why would we be spending more money on vouchers?” www.seacoastonline.com/story/news/p...

The I&D tax ending shifts burdens onto property tax payers. We sold out fixed income households in favor of a tax cut that benefits the wealthy. The GOP is already blaming these shifts on schools and not the failure of the state to fulfill its constitutional obligations for 30yrs. #NHPolitics

This reminds me of the slide Rep. Pertrigno made a couple years back… time to re-up. #NHPolitics

Rep. Petrigno will again be leading on a bill to remove the "divisive concepts" law that keeps teachers from fully teaching history.

If last term was any indication, this bill will not find enough R votes to pass, but sometimes the fight is just as important as the result.

If you're making money off of the government that is literally a financial incentive for a conflict of interest.

Funding Concerns Weigh Heavily on State’s Public Charter Schools Amid pending lawsuits, they seek a seat at the table over any changes in the system.

NHGOP school voucher program putting charter schools at risk. Vouchers are draining NH's education trust fund, which gives charter schools 2X more per student funds than other public schools. NH has 10X more charter schools students than vouchers switchers. #nhpolitics

My fucked up American healthcare insurance story.

My husband came home from the hospital *after* I'd had a bilateral mastectomy for BREAST CANCER to a letter in the U.S. mail saying that the surgery was denied.

There is nothing wrong with asking people to pay their fair share. We have record business profits, yet none of that benefits the common man. Taxes are the fiscally responsible way of handling public problems. If we want to talk about theft, let's talk about the wage theft committed by billionaires.

The next DNC chair should make two things clear: No super pac money in democratic primaries and not a dime of corporate pac money for the DNC. That is a basic first step to ensure our party represents working and middle class Americans.
