Eight years ago today I graduated from cosmetology school.
Now I own my own salon - that’s doing really well.
Really wish I could go back & tell younger me how this would work out
At the bar on karaoke night - mostly people watching bc I’m too scared to sing - & seeing younger girlies making friends is my most favorite thing ever. They’re so cute & excited for each other I can’t take it.
I fucking love women.
Working is service is SO hard today 🫠
My focus is not here. I don’t know what to talk about with anyone bc all I want to talk about is the state of the country & the anxiety I’m feeling about it.
It’s bizarre to see people so disconnected from it all.
People who enjoy small talk confuse me.
It’s ironic to me when people act devastated when you tell them you’re moving & beg you to stay but then turn around & continue the exact behavior that made you confident to cut ties in the first place 🫠
I have a full page of notes about what I want to go over with my therapist this week.
