Might be temporary, but it appears that Google may now be censoring previously-high resolution satellite imagery over Ali Al Salem Air Base — the Kuwaiti base used by the U.S. that's been targeted by Iranian drone/missile attacks.

Yandex and Apple sat imagery appears uncensored so far.

Iranian school was on U.S. target list, may have been mistaken as military site The strike on an Iranian elementary school killed at least 175, many of them children, raising questions as to whether the military’s use of AI-enabled targeting was a factor.

New:
-Iranian elementary school may have been misidentified as a factory or arms depot
-A Centcom or DIA intelligence analyst would've had responsibility for keeping target information updated
-The "the speed and scale" meant older targets may not have received updated vetting

One final new piece of information emerged from the documents released by Buffalo Police yesterday. When a woman first spotted Shah Alam on Tuesday at 5:30pm, he was moving. Only when she passed by again three hours later and saw he was no longer moving did she call 911.

What happened to Shah Alam between the night of February 19 and the evening of February 24 is still not known, including how and why he ended up on the street 5.7 miles away outside the KeyBank Center, where the Sabres play.

Border Patrol didn't notify Shah Alam's family or attorney, and he no longer lived anywhere close to the Tim Hortons where they left him. He lived with his wife and kids more than six miles away. Now he was alone, without proper shoes, in about 37 degree weather.

After taking custody of Shah Alam, Border Patrol appears to have decided or realized that, as a Rohingya refugee (whose immigration to the US was facilitated by Jewish Family Services of Western New York), he was "not amenable to removal."

Shah Alam's sentencing was set for March 24, and his family posted bond on February 19. Rather than being transferred to ICE and then released, as his attorney reportedly expected, the Erie County Sheriff's Office release Shah Alam to Border Patrol per his original detainer.

Per @ipostnews.bsky.social reporting, Shah Alam's family opted not to bail him out of the Erie County jail for fear he would be immediately deported upon his release. Eventually, the Erie County DA agreed to offer Shah Alam a reduced plea to misdemeanor weapons possession and trespass:

Shah Alam was booked on a felony and six misdemeanors, which a grand jury then indicted as felony assault, burglary and criminal mischief charges, and he was arraigned in June. Border Patrol issued a detainer on him on the grounds that he was deportable:

In the footage, Shah Alam can be heard speaking in Rohingya and Malay. He asks for God’s help and tries to explain to the uncomprehending officers that he lives nearby and was going to the store. He pleads with the officers not to throw away his phone.

Buffalo Police also released body cam footage showing Shah Alam's underlying February 15, 2025, arrest, which was the reason for his immigration detainer. Shah Alam, who is nearly blind and doesn't speak English, had gotten lost and entered a stranger's backyard.

Shah Alam paced for a few minutes outside the Tim Hortons after being dropped off and then, around five minutes after Border Patrol left him, he leaves and walks slowly across a parking lot toward a Family Dollar, where he disappears from view.

This video shows Shah Alam, visible wearing what Mayor Sean Ryan described as orange jail booties, walk to the Tim Hortons front door, pause, and walk away. An employee told us today that they look the doors at 7pm every night. The time was 8:19pm.

This video, taken from the drive-thru of a Tim Hortons coffee shop, shows a man from an unmarked white van unloading the person who appears to be Shah Alam before driving away. The person is wearing clothes that match those Shah Alam was wearing when arrested a year prior:

Refugee released by Border Patrol found dead, sparking outrage Surveillance video obtained by The Post shows Border Patrol agents releasing the partially blind refugee, who went missing for days before being found dead.

We obtained footage showing a man who appeared to be refugee Nurul Amin Shah Alam being dropped off by Border Patrol outside a Buffalo coffee shop after 8pm. The shop locks its door at 7pm. He never made it inside, and was found dead five days later:

Trump Privately Dreams of Iran Regime Change Glory as Democrats Cynically Weigh Political Benefits of War Trump says he wants to be the president who takes down the Islamic Republic. Democratic leaders see him walking into a political trap of his own making ahead of the midterms.

Drop Site reporting suggests the reason Democrats have been relatively quiet on the possibility of Trump's war with Iran is that most think it's decent policy that will also be politically disastrous for him www.dropsitenews.com/p/trump-iran...

So apparently I was right to shittalk m00t this week because it's been revealed that his boneheaded decision to establish /pol/ and subsequently ruin the website was allegedly born out of a one-on-one meeting with Jeffery Epstein.

Hi guys - I know this is controversial among rapid responders, but I think it’s important: if you knew Alex Pretti, please consider talking to (real) reporters like Sam here. They are not trying to harm us or his reputation but they can push back against right-wing lies if we tell them the truth.
