So far, my experience has been pleasant. WSL has significantly improved since I tried it years ago.

Ultimately, I believe that many of us in DevRel have the misconception that everyone has a MacBook Pro. This is not the case.

For the foreseeable future, all my time spent in my IDE will be on Windows. I will use macOS for non-coding work because I’m not ready to make a full switch, nor do I want to.

Each week I’m struck by the realization that we really need to step up our game in supporting developers who prefer Windows. It's time to put some serious effort into this.

After sticking with OSX/macOS as my go-to for years—since 2007, to be exact—I took the leap and ordered a Windows laptop this week.

As I’ve been diving into our user feedback for Sourcegraph Cody, it hit me: a significant chunk of our users are on Windows. 🧵
