At least you picked a dry day for it.
Now, I like the *drive* from Crieff up to Amulree and over to Dunkeld, but I certainly don't fancy an early-morning bus trip around those roads.
Unsolicited writing advice, no. 926: Avoid long descriptions of your characters. No one really cares what the shape of their nose is, or what their jumper is made of, especially when that’s the first thing your readers are learning about them…

I look forward to seeing your updates.
This sounds exciting, congratulations, Kristie.
this is it right here. AI violates Vonnegut's number 1 rule for writers: "Use the time of a total stranger in such a way that he or she will not feel the time was wasted." AI shifts the burden of effort from the writer onto the reader/audience and that is unacceptable

Don’t write your book with AI but we’ll edit it with AI! Don’t do your homework with AI but you’re required to learn how to use AI or you won’t get a good grade! Don’t use AI to make a resume but we will be using AI to feed resumes through! [pterodactyl screech] None of this has to be this way

The evangelical belief that everything will somehow turn out for the best because the monorail salesman was saying optimistic things as we wrote him the cheque... 🤪
Was feeling a little overwhelmed with work today, juggling a few imminently pressing tasks, and then I checked in on a colleague in poor health who responded that they only had a few months to live.
What petty unimportant lives we've built around ourselves.
