Rereading some of my older books, as I flirt with the idea of writing a sequel. Pleasantly surprised to discover that I don't hate them (even if there are aspects I'd probably approach differently now) but also wondering if I'll be able to slip back into that particular voice again.

This is both a relief and also ominous.

In my ignorance, I enjoy that this could be a reference to a song, a band, a festival, a new designer drug, a liquor sold in a bottle shaped like one of the Real Housewives, or a sex act I should probably already know about.
