Fucking MVA.

I'm only at the start of my treatment plan, and I've already exhausted all of my health benefits. Now what? I can't afford to pay out of pocket. 😖

a man wearing a red hat and a music band shirt is holding a skateboard in his hand . Alt: Steve Buscemi, wearing a red hat, Music Band T-shirt, and red jacket has a skateboard slung over his shoulder. Trying to fit in with his peers, he says, "How do you do, fellow kids?" "How Do You Do, Fellow Kids?" is a reaction image commonly used to respond to users pretending to be part of a community that they are clearly unfamiliar with. The image features the actor Steve Buscemi dressed youthfully and holding a skateboard, and is usually subtitled with the tagline. The image is taken from the "30 Rock" episode "The Tuxedo Begins" (season six, episode 8). In the show, actor Steve Buscemi plays Lenny Wosniak, a private detective hired as a strike buster. In a scene where Wosniak is describing his prior investigations, he flashes back to a scene where he believes he successfully masqueraded as a high school student, parodying the TV show 21 Jump Street. Buscemi, a 55-year-old at the time the episode aired, approaches a group of high school teens dressed as "one of them."

Now there's a new euphemism to file. 🤣

I guess "bumpin' uglies" and "help hang a shelf" are passé, huh?

That one spring day you spot movement from the corner of your eye, turn to look, and spot the tiniest baby jackrabbit. You melt, and the troubles of the world evaporate for a brief moment.

If the morass hasn't killed the bun-buns' mood and they're multiplying like ... well ... there's still hop(e).

I would similarly posit that creators/artists have a duty to act responsibly. For example, a cynical adult, who also has discernment, may find the image of a cartoon bear in a noose amusing, but printing that on a run of apparel that children could wear ... not so cool.

I would also posit that art can be a call to action. It can be social commentary and stir people to, for example, decry an oppressive structure, topple a regime, fight for amnesty, etc.

I am enjoying this thread, and it brings to mind a conversation I recently had with good friends.

Are utilitarian "things" art? What distinguishes art from handicraft? Must something forcibly stir something in the human spirit, soul, or psyche in order to be deemed art? Is "ugly" also art?
