Ok, I filled a BBC complaint about it and so should you
You can find my complaint in the alt text, but I urge you to write your own if able.

No, Beth wasn't just cleared of all wrongdoing, it was found "there was harassment of the second
respondent by the claimant related to gender reassignment".
Beth is the victim here, and even when she is forced to flee to the literal other side of the world they just can't stop bullying her.
Tweet by Martina Navratilova. "Predator. That is how he should register. A sexual predator…" quote-tweeting a tweet by "Biology Rules OK" about Dr. Beth Upton, a trans woman
This tweet is highly defamatory and Martina Navratilova should be fired from BBC Sport for it.
It demonstrates an horrendous level of hatred for a trans woman (who was cleared of all wrongdoing in a recent tribunal) because she is a trans woman.

Folks, folks, FOLKS!
T is OK for cis women but not trans men.
Puberty blockers are OK for cis kids but illegal for trans kids.
You see it, right? You see what this is?
Praising JK Rowling when asked a question on trans rights is akin to praising Anita Bryant when asked a question gay rights. No money to Stonewall. No Stonewall at Pride. They are already experiencing a funding crisis, and this chairwoman appointment should be their last. Traitors.
@mrjamesob.bsky.social Again you talk about Trump's racism, misogyny and climate change denial, yet fail as ever to mention his genocidal transphobia.
$222 million spent on anti-trans ads specifically, but you don't think transphobia is worthy adding to the list of reasons his base support him?
Trans people are exhausted.
Non-stop fighting, writing, documenting, archiving, pleading, begging, hiding, crying and more.
Exhausted.
I have been considering similar tbh.
Wow, can @labouruk.bsky.social MP @tomhayesmp.bsky.social give any reason why he’s taking @greenparty.org.uk leaflets from properties?
This is unacceptable.
It's from League, sort of. The guy isn't actually part of the team but is a comedian, I think, who was doing some promo stuff with T1. Search for SKT T1 Dumbo if you're interested.
I'm happy to work on it alongside you (and with anyone else who wishes to). Might be useful to have more than 1 person doing it and to slice up which GIC's we each do.
OK, thanks.
Would you mind if someone else took it over at all?
Thank you to every trans person who shares their transition publicly.
Every time you shared your story, you created ripples that reached people you’ll never even meet.
You’ve saved lives without knowing it.
Has anyone contacted you yet about taking over the FOI's?
It might be something I look to try and do if not.
Stonewall is no longer an LGBTQ+ advocate. They should now be regarded as anti LGBTQ+ across the board.
Our community needs to make it abundantly clear, spread the word however & with whoever Stonewall has fallen, not to be trusted & should be treated like the quislings & pariahs they have become.
We’re not realigning with the EU. This country is so clearly a long term fascist project. They’ve already decided I have no future here, and it’s looking very grim for those who do.
Unless enough people stand up to the rise of fascism, but I don’t see that happening. The English enjoy it too much.
Her office said the Office for Students (OfS), which regulates universities, had received reports of speakers and lecturers being harassed and blocked for holding gender-critical or religious views, of foreign interference suppressing academic freedoms, and of ideological belief requirements featuring in job advertisements.
The OfS will be able to use the new complaints scheme from September. From April, it will be able to fine universities the greater of £500,000 or 2 per cent of their income, which would amount to millions of pounds for large institutions, for breaches under the Freedom of Speech Act. Ultimately, universities could be deregistered for egregious cases.
Bridget Phillipson will introduce new laws to make it possible for Universities to be fined millions of pounds if they don't silence students who protest bigots invited onto their campuses. It's like the Tories never left office.
Please note the belief requirements point. The OfS set out its view last summer, in a paper on free speech, stating it would be improper to ask for evidence of a commitment to EDI in hiring or promotions processes. This would discriminate against those opposed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Thank you for all that you have done 🫂
The Independent Phillipson tells universities to take firm action to protect Jewish students Story by Nina Lloyd • 11h L International Women's Day © PA Archive Bridget Phillipson has written to vice-chancellors urging them to take "practical and proportionate steps" to protect Jewish students as part of Government efforts to stamp out antisemitism following the Manchester terror attack.
Universities risk sanctions over Gaza protests, watchdog says POLITICAL THINKING 日日G RADIO Joshua Nevett Political reporter 2 hours ago Universities could face sanctions if pro-Palestinian protests descend into harassment and discrimination against Jewish students on campus, the free speech director at the watchdog for higher education in England has said. Arif Ahmed, from the Office for Students (OfS), told the BBC freedom of speech did not mean the freedom to intimidate, harass, and discriminate against Jewish students.
University of Sussex fined £585k in transgender free speech rOW GETTY IMAGES Branwen Jeffreys > Education Editor 25 March 2025 The University of Sussex has been fined £585,000 by the higher education regulator, the Office for Students (OfS), for failing to uphold freedom of speech. The OfS investigation started with the case of Prof Kathleen Stock, who left the university in 2021 after being accused of transphobia for her views on sex and gender issues. The OfS said the university's policy statement on trans and non-binary equality, including a requirement to "positively represent trans people", could lead to staff and students preventing themselves from voicing opposing views. The University of Sussex plans to legally challenge the OfS findings, vice-chancellor Prof Sasha Roseneil said. Describing the judgement as an "unreasonably absolutist definition of free speech", the university said the ruling would leave institutions "powerless to prevent abusive, bullying and harassing speech".

“Free speech for me, but not for thee!”
They’re not even pretending that it was only ever just about free speech anymore…
No trans flag but I still did design my room around trans colours. White walls, pink curtains and blue bedding. I quite like them when they are very desaturated and soft.
Not my room (my ADHD brain means it's a mess and not suitable for photos) but this sort of theme.
What she means is that trans people have had our rights rolled back to their worst point in decades, but she isn't trans so she doesn't care.
It's only now that it's starting to make her fearful that she is worried about a possible rollback of her own rights.
Sadly yes. He'll limp on until at least May I imagine and the elections then.
Understandable though. I mean it's not like there were any extremely famous trans people who were prominent participants of the riots from which they take their name from, right?
Very much centred on her own experiences.
She's becoming fearful of holding her wife's hand in public, but fails to see how fearful we are of just existing in public right now.
She mentions a possible rollback of her rights, but fails to mention the rollback of trans rights already happening.
3/ As a cis woman, defending trans people’s rights is an essential part of defending my own rights. That is, if I needed a reason beyond it just being the right thing to do.
Completely self-centered and only concerned with her own ability to feel safe.
She never once mentions just how far trans rights have been rolled back in the UK, how fearful trans people feel right now.
It's all about her rights and her safety.
Yep. She's clearly only concerned about herself and her own rights. Never once acknowledges just how far back trans rights have been taken in this country.
