Cloudflare outage on November 18, 2025 Cloudflare suffered a service outage on November 18, 2025. The outage was triggered by a bug in generation logic for a Bot Management feature file causing many Cloudflare services to be affected.

Maybe consider at least using `.expect()`, unless you want to end up like Cloudflare. :)

From the discordapp community on Reddit: What's the deal with this Spotify Auto Pause??? Explore this post and more from the discordapp community

Yes. Here's a reddit thread about it from 7 years ago:

www.reddit.com/r/discordapp...

You have to be continuously transmitting for 30s while listening to Spotify while it's connected to your Discord account, so it doesn't activate often.

This has been the case since like 2017.

If you don't link your Spotify to your Discord it won't do this.

Bytewave, a gray and green pegasus, soaring towards the camera above a cityscape, with Caramel Sweet, a beige and brown unicorn, clinging onto him as he rides on the pegasus' back. The CN Tower is visible in the background, and the sun is setting in the distance behind the duo. Both ponies are wearing wedding rings, Bytewave's as a necklace, and Caramel's around his horn.

New keyboard day! I wanted to upgrade from my Corsair K95 to something a bit more premium. Feels like a dream.

If the game developer set their content depots up correctly, yes. If they just have one per OS, I don't think it'll work, but if they have one with common, OS-agnostic assets, and ones specific to target OSes, then Steam should share the content depot locally. I believe that's how it works.

My bet is that things will continue like nothing happened. Unfortunately, this level of blind trust is pretty prevalent at all the wrong levels in the industry, sometimes required by law (eg, DMCA).

The original comment mentioned serverHold, not clientHold. :P

In general, you should be able to check the EPP status codes over whois.

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

The situation has since been resolved to my understanding, so the hold code will have been lifted. But based on what the previous reply said, coupled with the fact clientHold and serverHold are typically used in situations requiring intervention (eg legal disputes), it's a reasonable assumption.

"Server" EPP codes are set by the registry (the TLD operator), and "Client" EPP codes are set by the registrar (in this case iWantMyName). No other party is allowed to set these statuses, and they're not set at the DNS level, however hold statuses prevent DNS servers from resolving held domains.

It's kind of terrifying just how much goes into it.

And yet, I'm grateful they added it at all. It's impressive they got it working given the structure of bsky and ATproto behind the scenes.
