Dale wants to pioneer his fantasy bio-gas instead. Heat pump tech works and is widely accepted as one of the main technologies for cutting our emissions, so he's feeding the Murdoch press with anti-solutions propaganda.

When you've sunk a lot of money in a hare-brained biogas scheme and you see an actually workable energy technology getting all the attention...

Gas Industry Eyes Comeback as New York Weighs Climate Law Delays Fossil fuel interests have enlisted prominent former elected officials to make the case that gas is here to stay.

New Yorkers will be at the governor's office today to ask her not to be a fossil fuel champion like Trump.

The idea that the gas industry is planning a "comeback" in New York in 2026 should disqualify any politician who is in charge.

Too many fossil fuel dems. Voters need to remedy that.

Wondered if you're aware of how much UK electricity is now capable of being produced by wind/solar. Here it is right now... The wholesale price is £55/MWhr - on days like this it's usually more like £10/MWhr as there is so much wind/solar, but the price of gas is propping it up... grid.iamkate.com

This is my favourite graphic.

It's incredible how far DAYTIME solar has already come with almost no batteries.

Just think how this will change with batteries, when instead of daytime solar, we get DISPATCHABLE solar.

The solar boom is only just starting...

Lots of progressives kvetching about would-be California Governor Tom Steyer because he's a billionaire. But he's a billionaire who feels the climate crisis in his bones. If @leahstokes.bsky.social and @billmckibben.bsky.social trust him, maybe Democrats should?

Clean energy pushes fossil-fuel power into reverse for ‘first time ever’ - Carbon Brief Renewable energy has overtaken coal to become the world's largest source of electricity in 2025, according to thinktank Ember.

One headline that shows why fossil fuel interests are *pouring* money into far-right political parties.

INSANELY powerful speech about one of the most evil, legal industries: Big Tobacco.

This industry kills 8+ million people/year. More than HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria combined. The #1 cause of preventable death on earth.

Yet the fight against it gets just 0.1% of global health funding. 🧵

Will people be plucked in streets, sent to concentration camps?

Farage inflicted Brexit, now importing Trump racism and terror.
