This time I am slightly better prepared.
Going to continue work on the new Crafting mechanic for Project Brazier!
The stream had to end earlier than I would've liked.
I am not yet skilled enough in streaming while simultanouelsy solving more complex issues.
What I had forgotten back then, I had already solved that specific issue over a year ago! I do plan to continue work on this in about an hour.
A tavern like interior, floor and walls are made out of modded blocks. In the center there is a table with red tablecloth and red polstered benches, this area is separated from the remaining tavern by a see trough barrier build out of new beam blocks. Lighting is provided by new standing chandelier blocks, and another new block only partially visible in the top right corner. In the background you can also see a lantern hanging on a chain from one of the new wood beams.
I may stream some #mcdev today, reviving my old crafting mechanic. - Project Brazier for 1.21.1 is reaching the point I am feeling comfortable to release it.
Unfortunately it's nowhere where I wanted it to be content wise, but it'll be available on Fabric and NeoForge!

P.s. A lot of this is negative, but I still think that Hytale is an amazing game, even if it still has a long way to go. And while I want to continue modding it, I'll restrict my interactions to the MC Modders that also do Hytale, avoiding Hytale only Modders.

6. The reliance & acceptance of AI has lead to the lack of respect among modders which I know from MC, because there are no rules in war, love and AI.
7. The amount of AI slop is killing my entire motivation to browse for mods.

5. There are things I'd like to do, but I lack the artistic skills for them + I know that other modders would just decompile my mod, steal the tech and say they made it. I'd be fine with teaching people, but not with the current attitude so many Hytale "modders" have right now.

4. My brain just doesn't work with "artist first" development approaches, I think in logic, not in "ouh fancy gui to click together a new feature". Sure it's optional, but with a lack of documentation it's hard to not use these. I also don't like Unity nor Unreal for these reasons.

3. Personally my motivation for modding Minecraft skyrocketed, while I am loosing interest in Hytale. It just doesn't yet feel unique enough from MC, and I really don't like certain design decisions.
It's been 14 days since Hytale released, here's my conclusion so far:
1. A decent part of the modding community is vile, they'll rip other mods, make minor changes and re-release as their own.
2. My Minecraft mod downloads doubled since the release.

The amount of AI Slop for Hytale really ruins all my motivation to even browser mods :( It's a shame modding has come to this point, and imo an even bigger shame that Curseforge is so tolerant of AI slop...
There is a Linux and even MacOS download
Though linux is just flatpack afaik

I see someone participate into "How to destroy our product" course for CEOs. To bad it's been a good time. Time to dig out the old Internet Explorer installer.
• I checked all modding communities I am in, you didn't ask about feedback on those standards in any of them.
Idk how you can try to establish community standards, without involving the community, those standards are for.
Rename them to something like "Our checklist", fix them, and I am fine.
• I am not fond of my images and descriptions being reposted on another website,
however Modrinth's TOS allows it, so I got to live with that.
• Your site doesn't have a noindex meta tag on project pages,
meaning that it directly competes with Modrinth for SEO.

• The score is designed in such a way, that a low score seems like something bad
• The standards seem like something official, generally agreed upon
• Additionally, some of them don't seem to work correctly
