there's nothing wrong with having a 'comfort zone' and working to constantly refine and excel at what you do within those parameters. And usually those parameters are defined by others not you. You're doing what you enjoy doing and nobody should be telling you to work outside of what you love doing.

Three panel comic. (SPOILERS for the movie Arrival, but it’s like a decade old at this point so personally I think it’s chill.) Panel 1: the aliens from arrival are communicating in their circle writing language to Amy Adams’ character. Panel 2: Amy Adams is back with the other humans, standing in front of a whiteboard, and frantically trying to explain the meaning of their language, connecting their symbols to words like “WAR”, “HUMAN”, “PURPOSE”, etc. Panel 3: the aliens are hanging out drinking brews and one of them is like, “and then I drew a circle with a bunch of squiggles!” His buddies are cracking up.

My main inspiration was the centaurs from "Fantasia": colorful and cheerful. So Spiros will be a character I’ll play in an RPG game that will take place soon! Yay!

Spiros is a blacksmith and a goldsmith who makes his own jewelry. I conceived him as a gentle soul, in contrast to the usual violent nature of centaurs in mythology. I think of Spiros as an artist, crafting beauty from raw ores and enjoying time with friends and family: galloping and celebrating. 🐎✨
