i have not but i will give it a look

been slow-rolling an emotional breakdown all day. i am gonna get to see again. it's really happening

but today i am sitting here with a test-fit lens in one eye, and another full set of lenses on the way, and i can SEE. it's not perfect but the difference in clarity even with just the one eye corrected is absolutely shocking

and so i have been seeing a lot of specialists mostly to have them inform me that there's nothing their practice can do for me except refer me to someone else who might have the right expertise. last fall things got a lot worse and it all became much more urgent

haven't really talked about this in public but i have been progressively losing my eyesight the last several years in a way that's not correctable with typical eyeglasses or contact lenses and it's been a really frightening situation. "this doctor wants to write a paper about your eyes" kind of deal

got some good news from my eye doctor yesterday and i am finally entering my cyborg era. once my new specialized contact lenses arrive i will have good eyesight again for the first time in years

how could they not
