Maybe Trump Shouldn’t Visit Xi After All When Donald Trump visits his Chinese counterpart in Beijing next month, “President Xi will give me a big, fat, hug,” the American president predicted the other day. “Doesn’t that beat fighting??? BUT ...

Trump can't ask Xi to concede anything big. But Xi will ask Trump — and Taiwan could end up the loser, says @andreaskluth.bsky.social www.bloomberg.com/opinion/arti...

Trump fought to keep the ballroom fundraising contract secret. Here’s what’s in it. The agreement governing hundreds of millions in private donations was kept secret until a watchdog group sued and a judge ordered it disclosed.

Yet more dirt from the dirtiest administration since Warren Harding and the Teapot Dome. Donald Trump is the Grifter-in-Chief. Corruption is the mother's milk of his family. Witkoff, Lutnick etc. are walking conflicts of interest. Wake up, 'Murrica. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Look to Latin America’s Oil Boom for Energy Security From the ultra-deep waters of Brazil’s Santos Basin to the arid shale fields of Argentina’s Patagonia, a new hydrocarbon boom is welling up across Latin America.

The US war with Iran gives Latin America a chance to position itself as a steady, energy-rich supplier in a region largely free of major interstate conflict, says @jpspinetto.bsky.social www.bloomberg.com/opinion/arti...

America’s Global Rizz Is Going Up in Smoke Soft power: An American pope understands and wields it; an American president does not understand it and keeps destroying it.

"Our children are the sickest generation in modern history," says RFK jr. Please explain this to me. Using what yardstick? How do you define "modern history"? And if you feel that way, RFK, how can you work for a prez who's making our air, water and Earth sicker with every executive order?

“Telling Iran’s negotiators that Trump wants their people to prosper is not diplomacy. It is a sales pitch being made to buyers who are not in the market, delivered by a salesman whose company has defaulted on previous contracts.”

This is telling. With a war on, you would think the Centcom commander would be in the region 24/7, not making occasional visits from Tampa. Centcom has a forward HQ at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. I can only conclude Adm. Cooper isn’t working from there because it’s considered too dangerous.

Let's be sure to savor the irony that one of the chief intermediaries between the US and Iran on their nuclear disagreement is a country that surreptitiously built its own bomb. Somewhere, Abdul Qadeer Khan is chuckling.

Just wanted to remind folks, especially the GOP and the FDD, that Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal didn’t give Iran control of the Strait of Hormuz or allow it to keep 60% enriched uranium. It sent $1.7 billion to Iran versus the tens of billions Iran will now make from tolls. 🤷🏽‍♂️
