It's nice to decentralize everything and have a tangible source of media that you actually own.

I have access to all of the music I have collected over the span of over 20 years. Right at my fingertips.

With more than enough room for that collection to grow on a 1TB card.

I was playing a Japanese game for PSP and had no problem recalling the compound word 生年月日(seinengappi). Which means "birthdate."

Absolutely! It's also a good motivator for me to really buckle down and re-train my brain on parts of the language that I forgot. Retreading old study methods really helps wake up those dormant synapses.
