My brain pronounced it as “A-Aron” like in the Key and Peele sketch. 😭 One time I got “Nana” instead of Ana and now my one friend just calls me Nana.
One thing I notice is sometimes people really like to argue with artists that art "isn't that deep" when someone is explaining the choices in a piece. Literally every thing that's in a piece is put there on purpose by the artist.
Sometimes we put meaning in there we don't even intend it just comes out.
I feel like a lot of it is defensive. "I didn't notice so it must not be there, don't make me feel stupid, don't be pretentious"
I don't like feeling stupid either but sometimes people are going to be experts at things
Something being full of meaning isn't trying to make you feel stupid it's trying to talk with you.
