True, though only 2 seats changed occupants. Just hashing this all out in this setting might have value, even if they don’t amend the ordinance.
And I don’t think Pearson said they do. I heard her say in response to Pritchett that they could have their own HR and stuff but not that they should necessarily
They’re just going to defer this again aren’t they
Which probably wouldn’t be the worst thing
I haven’t really heard anybody with any authority argue for that but maybe I missed it. Kemble was asserting that city staff could use policy to delay or whatever
I don’t think independent oversight is a particularly radical notion, is it?
I would have said Truffaldino
I wasn’t offering to pay you to use it or for any other reason
When I did similar things (not mail merge exactly but integrating data from two different spreadsheets) ChatGPT had a very hard time, and with Claude it took a few tries to get the prompt right. But now it works and gets it right every time
The first City Council president with the same name as the city they represent since Jeff Sheboygan in 1973
Don’t forget 25th amendment still requires a 2/3 vote in both the house and senate
Removal by any means is a pipe dream
Right, it does take some finessing of the prompt, depending on how complicated your task is. But still, typing instructions in plain language is easier than remembering when you learned to do mail merge in 1994 or whatever
Yes, and the mail merge function on Excel is byzantine and difficult to use if you only do it once in a while, so telling an LLM agent to do it would save time, wouldn't it? What's wrong with that?
Just gonna say this: I have a problem with for-profit media begging for donations or selling "memberships."
Yes, journalism is critical for democracy and civic engagement and community well-being.
So just go nonprofit. Don't ask people to donate to your shareholders and investors.

While it's clear that not every white person, or white woman, individually voted for Trump, as a collective, we elected him.
People act collectively, and one of the most important things you can learn is to consider people as both individiuals, and members of a collective.
Americans elected Trump president. That doesn't mean every American voted for him, but we, as a collective, elected him.
"Grandpa, why did the league schedule Forward Madison in the middle of the day?"
"Why, so @derschattenwolf.bsky.social could watch it at a reasonable hour, of course."
Between Tottenham getting relegated and Arsenal having a quadruple in their hands only to fumble it and win fuck all, this could be the funniest EPL season in history
We’ve reached the era of peak headline stupidity

Someone tell Wolves you’re not supposed to do “desperate defending” in the second minute
