When Planned Parenthood health centers are forced to close, patients don’t magically get care elsewhere. They lose access – full stop. Patients deserve better than deception – they deserve Planned Parenthood.
Let us be clear – when Planned Parenthood health centers close, patients lose access to real, comprehensive health care – including contraception and cancer screenings.

NEW: The Trump administration announced a harmful new proposal that would block access to essential gender-affirming medical care for transgender youth across the country.
If this discriminatory regulation moves forward, we will see this administration in court.
Gender-affirming care for young people is based on decades of clinical research and backed by the leading U.S. medical associations.
This is cruelty, plain and simple. We’re holding our trans and nonbinary communities extra close today. 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵

This is a direct attack on expert providers who deliver medically necessary care for transgender and nonbinary patients.
The goal is clear: threaten doctors and health care providers with jail time to stop them from giving patients the life-saving and evidence-based health care they need. (1/2)
Despite its recognition of the “deleterious effects” of the “defunding,” which jeopardizes care for 1.1M Planned Parenthood patients, the First Circuit nevertheless overturned a lower court’s preliminary injunction blocking the law from being enforced. Proceedings on the merits of the case continue.

Now, the federal government has shut down, due to the Trump administration’s attempt to make health care even more expensive & out of reach for everyday, hard-working people by letting Affordable Care Act tax credits lapse. We cannot let this happen quietly. (3/4)
Planned Parenthood health centers provide cancer screenings, STI testing & treatment, birth control & other essential care for people who have nowhere else to turn — especially for folks who are low income or who live in rural communities. Cutting off this access means putting lives at risk. (2/4)
