Stay anchored in the reality of the incident and be true to that reality. Don't let others force you into an alternative reality or influence what you say or how you say it. You are there, you know best, and your allegiance is always to those affected by the incident. 4/

Excited to attend the ribbon-cutting for the next segment of California’s solar canal initiative later this month in Hickman. Imagine generating solar power over 4,000 miles or so canals across the state. A lot of Sierra and Colorado River water to save via avoided evaporation.

They did no performance evaluation of the people they laid off. So they can’t make any claims about their performance. What we do know is:
1. The people fired had more experience than the people hired
2. The new hires come via a political process where they have to detail their support for Trump

Elected leaders: hold Musk’s DOGE Accountable! Trump and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) was a disaster. They promised DOGE would save U.S. taxpayers trillions. Instead, it cost us all money, destroyed vital agencies, left...

Trump gave Musk & DOGE bros unlimited power. Now we’re all paying the price. From #SocialSecurity data, to lives lost and #climate inaction, the damage is real. Demand Congress šŸ” #InvestigateDOGE

Is It Happening today?

the basic theory of DOGE was that if powerful people said it was fine it didn’t matter what the law said.

I think proving that theory wrong is worth significant effort

seriously hope when dems get back in power they go after every single fuck involved with DOGE

Elon Musk was the ā€œmastermindā€ behind this program. The next Dem president should seize this + interest from him.

We will be learning about the damage caused by DOGE for years to come, and we may not ever really ever know the full extent.

I don’t disagree with removing the college degree requirement, but it should be for *all* series, not just tech jobs.

In my field, you still need a degree to count trees for a living.

The latest round of the DRP definitely has Tyler’s unprofessional fingerprints all over it, so maybe that’s our answer.

Glad to see Amanda Scales made the list (mayhaps from my tip a few months ago? šŸ‘€).

I will add that no one knows what some of the lesser known DOGE folks — Tyler Hassen and Stephanie Holmes, DOI — are up to these days. We don’t even know if they’re still in government.

if you care about climate change, part of YOUR responsibility is changing what you eat.

i don’t eat beef. i donā€˜t eat almonds or pistachios, or products with those nuts in them. you don’t have to go vegan to make a difference.
