Strange that so many orders now require the barista to use the nuclear centrifuge.

What might cause a sudden flood of people posting books that never sell anything??? It's a mystery.
For me it catches a totally different kind of problem: A sentence can be grammatically correct, but almost impossible to read aloud.
Have mercy on your audiobook narrator and do it yourself before publishing.
New episode day!
I love this chapter. There is something absolutely wonderful writing about a formal wizard feast. I get to be weird and invoke nonsense like hovering truffle orreries and kelpie salads that try to wriggle away because the wizards can't help themselves.

That was my first thought as well, which I felt fundamentally undermined the fun thought experiment a fan was having. Hence reaching out.

A fan has DMed me with an important question for which I lack the necessary depth of knowledge.

For the curious, that unexpected lake is ankle deep... while on a bicycle.

I was about to make this list and realized I haven't seen many of these in a long time and am worried whether any hold up.

I am continually baffled by what goes viral. I post video on other places, and a few things have exploded:
Derivation of what % Fluff is Hello Kitty
Relative sizes of planets as food
Archetype analysis of Alucard from Helsing
Smurf Biology
Basic metallurgy of steel
Please explain how why this!?!?
Kuro from stealing from wizards, a small boy with messy hair and unkempt clothes, with a raccoon perched on his shoulder.
New Stealing from Wizards art has been delivered!
I continue to use the money I'm not spending travelling to US conventions to pay human artists to make art.

I worry less about professions where people interact with the actual physical world. Pilots, surgeons, welders, there's a built in filtering mechanism if they have not skills or knowledge.
The mediocre middle might get their brains hollowed out and be unable to do anything without their AI crutch.
For student privacy reasons, I cannot post what I get here, but some of what we're getting is embarrassing for everyone involved. At least those students don't pass.
What I worry about is the slightly more competent ones who can use GenAI well enough that we can't prove they used it.
State of GenAI in education: I had a student submit a programming assignment in the wrong language.
Wait wait! Is CHARLIE the fourth nourn?!?! I think she is. Could she be? Maybe? She’s the only character who has mentioned sowing so far? I think she is. But HOW? This has never come up? I didn’t even know she liked sowing. My head is SPINNING. That means it’s a really good episode! 10/10!! Absolutely legendary! ❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
Releasing Stealing from Wizards chapters as weekly podcasts provides the absolute delight of watching people react through the comments as it comes out.
This wild speculation is giving me life in these bleak times.

A green polka dot background with a large polar bear in the foreground. A cartoon-style talk bubble has the bear saying: "You can sign up for a reminder and we'll send you an email when the event starts!" Text to the left of the bear says: "Do you love reading Canadian fiction? Our all-Canadian showcase event starts on June 21st!"

I have become less agreeable since getting progressive lenses. Nodding too much makes my eyes hurt.
ink drawing of a portrait of a raven facing right in front of a tree whose leaves are bursting into a flock of birds.
Digging through an old sketchbook and found the best ink drawing I think I've ever done which was a character portrait for someone else's DnD character, a Kenku named Cawcophony.

Come plaaaay! I've a spare room!
And two incomplete versions of envy which I never inked, I think because they made me sad.
A drawing of a chipmunk with very full cheeks
drawing of a raccoon with a very full belly
Greed and Gluttony
ink drawing of an otter reclining
Ink drawing of a wasp ready for a fist fight
Lust, which apparently I invisioned as an otter posing like Jurassic Park Jeff Goldblum
Wrath, rendered as a wasp ready to throw many hands.
Pen and ink drawing of a sloth sleeping
An ink drawing of a prideful cat
Ever go through an old sketchbook and wonder what was happening on your brain when you discover something you completely forgot you made?
Here are, apparently, the seven deadly sins as cute animals.

As I seem pathologically incapable of *sitting down and reading*, I am always excited by New Chapter Day. The incoming ~drama~ is getting very intense!

Such wordplay may get you panned, or make people so heated they lose their temper.
Oh! I'll check that out.
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is probably the closest. It's retty happy. About an android that runs a cafe in the twilight of humanity. Genuinely lovely and weirdly optimistic.
